Stan's headers

Got a set of Stan's headers for 460 in my Highboy. They sure look nice. Hope they fit as well as they look. I may even do a before and after on a Chassis Dyno to see what the changes actually are.

Stan's headers

They are sweet arent they dont you love the collector setup no leaks ever with that. I have them on my 79 250 with a 429 they fit like aglove you will be pleased. The only mod I had to make was moving the clutch return spring it took 5 minutes to drill a new hole and bolt it back on. That chrome looks nice through the wheelwells to. Andy

Stan's headers

Stan's is actually a real exhaust shop located in little 'ol Auburn WA. and I have had several exhaust systems done by him.

ALL have been picture perfect, and bulletproof. Never any problems. I am sure you will have similar success with his headers.

It is nice to have a custom exhaust shop that is local and readily available...

Stan's headers

Does or will Stan's make a set of headers for those ever-popular 73-79 F150 460/4x4s? To the best of my knowledge, L&L is the only company that makes some that fit, and they're fenderwell exit.

I've spoken with him several times and he seems knowledgeable, plus he'll entertain changes. My DOVE heads had been ported to CJ specs and he'll make a set with that flange. L&L where not so obliging. I hope to have a set ordered this spring. He has a good web page, just throw the name in google. You'll find a set for '75-'79 4WD 429/460 listed as part #246YL. Hope this helps.

Stan's headers

Im sure he does kjkozak2 and they wont be fenderwell I personally find them way better than l&l. Plus hes a nice guy. I dont like l&l to much I tried to buy just a clutch for there flywheel and they gave ooh we usally only sell the whole setup. That gave me a bad taste for them but its only mt experience.
