Will these work?
Im thinking on bidding on these, im going to put a 460 into my 79 shortbox 4x4. the guy says they will work for a 2wd but im not sure if theres a difference for a 4wd. any help will be appreciated . thanks.

As mil1ion said they are missing the part that bolts on the engine. They will fit 2wd only. You will have to buy aftermarket mounts for 460 in a 4wd.

Actually, I'm pretty sure the towers,mounts,insulators are the same on the 429/460 <> 2x4 & 4x4.
The difference is the rear sump pan,oil-pickup, and power steering brackets.
I just wouldn't buy 1/3 of the system I need than wonder when I will find the rest.
It should be eaier to find the whole set.
