Question battery relocation

i want to relocate my battery to the back either inside or outside the truck i have an optima yellow top and a red top with a 130amp alt . what materials would i need to relocate it to the back any ideas has anyone done this before .

I saw a kit on one of the TV shows, came with cables, a sealed box for the battery and vent tubing, you don't want the gases venting into the truck. If you do an internet search you'll find a lot, seem to be in the $150-250 range.

the previous post pretty much nailed it on the head, though im not sure why you would want to relocate the battery in anything but an drag car? and if this is for an drag car, there are some things you will need to pass tech such as an external cut off swich and some other small things like that, also be sure to run your wires underneath the truck rather than threw the passenger compartment

I think he's wanting more room for other things up front.. Monty - what are you doing this for?

i'm redoing my functional hood scoops idea this time with more space to work with in the front.
