AC doesn't work now!
I have a '98 F150 xlt with A/C. I drove it last week and the AC worked fine. Now, the thing has completely stopped and it's miserable to drive. The compressor doesn't kick on when put to a/c, or even defrost. Could this be a charge problem, or maybe a bad HVAC switch? Or am I looking at a new compressor........

Could be any of the above. I would first check the fuses and or relays. If it has a relay in the system, see if there is another system using the same number and switch them. Most likely it is a low pressure problem. The bad news is you don't go from great A/C to no A/C that fast unless there is a leak. You can buy do it yourself stuff anywhere, even Walmart. Or you could have the system evacuated, pressure tested, and recharged by a pro. When compressors or the clutch go they usually lock up.
