THanks, I will look into that.
Did i mention the low range light blinks but doesn't engage. could it still be the push button. and also the new motor I got doesn't have the three speed sensor wires. When i spoke to the sales man he said he has never encounter a problem with this, so the new motor doesn't need the speed sensor? I need to enroll in wyo tech to become an electrican so i can solve every ones woes.

IIRC the speed sensor for your Bronco is in the rear end. It shares is duties with the rear ABS sensor. I know thats how it is on my 93, but I am not sure what year they started mounting it there instead of on the t-case.

"Low Range" indicator blinks=> it means the electronic controller received the signal form the push button BUT the conditions requiered to shift are not meet, Usually controller sense speed over 3MPH.

CLARIFICATION: the new motor DOESN'T include speed sensor, just a 10 possition connector with 8 cables and 2 additional pin holes. The speed sensor is installed at the output shaft at T-case so the 2 wires (Green&Blue) should be there no matters electric motor brand.

For detailled information on T-case get a Haynes # 36858 just US$ 15 or so...

Sorry but we are talking about a DIFFERENT speed sensor. There is a speed sensor located at rear axel used by ABS, PSOM and PowerTrain controller.

The speed sensor used for Borg Wagner 1356 electric shift is a privated one installed INSIDE the output shaft cover.

Right......OK on the connector for your new shift motor there should be a open hole to push the pin connector into it so ALL the wires will match up.
