Cruise Control Not Working
I need some help here before I go to the shop. I've got an '01 F350 Lariat V10 4x4 CrewCab. The Cruise Control has hardly been used and I just found out obviously when I came to use it that nothing happens when I press the On button no light in the display nothing!
I thought it might just be a fuse, however apparently there's no straight link of a fuse to the cruise control that would make it malfunction.
Has anyone had similar problems with this vehicle and year. Any and all feedback would be very much appreciated.

I think... THEN the little green speedo lights up on the dash...
That's what my '03 does anyway...
First off, WELCOME TO FTE!!
Kraut is correct in the steps needed to activate the cruise control.
In my case, my cruise control was acting very wonky. Sometimes it would activate, then shut off. Other times wouldn't come on at all. It took a small fire under the hood to discover the reason why my cruise control wasn't working. Turned out to be the Cruise Control switch at the end of the master cylinder. The fitting that the switch connects to started leaking, and shorted out the switch. Easy fix for a fustrating and potentally dangerous problem!
