Arrow How do I change my Timing?

Hey all,

I have a 03 mercury mountaineer with a K&N intake, BBK throttle body, and Gibson exhaust. I want to change the timing so it will run better. How do I do that? Does anybody know?

I have a hypertech power programmer that I have not set up for my car yet because I am getting ready to install a low-temp thermostat.

I know that this device has tuning properties, but I wanted to know if theres any other way I can change my timing.

Thanks

As far as I know, you can only adjust the timing through programmers.

I agree... the timing is computer controlled, either a chip with a custom program or a programmer/tuner
