finally finished my c-notch
Notched her because I want to see her wearing 20's on the rear
and have her squat down with air bags like a momma hen when I park her.
Then only to raise up when it's time to ride.

Hey Keith,
Your not messin' around are you? Nice job. I only notched my frame about 2". It looks like you step notched yours about 7". When I tuck my 20's, my rear end is going to be sticking way up in the air. You're going to be able to lay your running boards right on the ground. That will look sweet.
Are you going to be able to tuck the 20's that far up into your fenders? How are you planning to raise your bed floor? I haven't gotten that far in my planning stage yet. I just talked myself out of a new bed because I'm afraid that I'm going to have to butcher it to get my rear suspension to fit the way I want. The panhard bracket for my 4-link actually sticks up higher than my pumpkin does. Strange.
Nice job, but I'd call that a serious frame step rather than a C notch.
On your grill mods what did you use for the chrome(?) trim on the front of the grill bar?
Hey randy actually the notch sticks up about 6" the same amount i'm going to raise the entire bed so every thing hides under the bed floor with maybe even a secret compartment.Brad the entire bed will be widend just like randy jack's check out his gallery. Wheels should fit with room to spare. Ax the chrome on the grill is just standard custom cab 1955.
