I'm going to c-notch my frame in the rear. I've seen the bolt on c-notch kits, and some are already prefabbed. Just bolt on.
Any of you use or know anything about these? pro's/con's......
If I go this route, do I need to box in the inside?
Also, who makes a good set that is not cheap, but economical?
If I had a set made by a friend of mine, what thickness of steel should be thick enough?
I'm not aware of a bolt-on kit for F100's but have seen a lot of bolt on suspension stuff for Chevys.
Most kits are very simple and you can easily make (or have your friend make) one yourself. I would use 3/16" steel at the very least and definatley box the inside as far as you can in front and back of the notch.
