'71 rear bumper

I have a nice '71 (which I bought in 1978). The current rear bumper is pretty grotty; only painted steel tube. I'd like to see some photos of chrome rear bumpers for ideas. gp

Thanks, but I don't know what an LMC book is. Probably popular or common knowlege in the states, but not in Oz. Can yu give me more info? G.P.

Also, while I'm at it; I have developed a serious problem with ignition timing. Under initial acceleration the timing retards by around 20 - 25 deg. before eventually normalising once revs increase and therefore vacuum stabilises. Have you ever heard of that before? I'll do all the usual systems checks again but I have failed to find any component resitance readings out of range to date. Naturally my fuel economy has gone down the toilet. G.P.
