I have a singlecab 98 5.4 v8 flareside and I was wondering what a reasonable price would be for the following: Fix small dents and scratches on low/bottom passenger side door, new paint job (for the entire truck not just the passenger side), 3 layer of clear coat, shaved door handles, shaved tailgate handle, and rhino lining.
Wow...with all that you could be looking at about 10K. I had some moderate scratches on my roof anf it was $500 to fix.
Sounds a little high
The question you need to ask yourself is how much are you willing to spend?
The major cost will be labor on the body work and shaving. Are you willing/capable to do some of that yourself? Could save you a good chuck of money. Rhino lining is about $400-600, depending on how you want it.
With that kind of work, I am always thinking about the paint type, and the quality of the finish. You don't see many vehicles that are customized like that, that don't get the $3000 paint job. As for my truck...there were some deep scratches and a small dent. They fixed it back to factory looking with clear coat and all.
