79 bronco, 351M headers

Well aint this a bitch. I bought a set of Hookers and flowtech headers new, for my bronco and they wont fit, they run right into the tranny crossmember. The hookers fit better than the flowtech but no way to get exaust on. Anyone have info on who makes header to fit?

i have a set of headers on my 79, don't remember the manu but the pipes after needed to be custom bent to get over the crossmember. you may have to do some custom bending to get the exhaust to fit unless the end right at the crossmember and can't get a pipe onto them

Thanks jeffery, If i put the collector adaptor on, it will be about 2" from the crossmember, not even close! Got any pictures of your header set up?
