Help, headers don't fit
I bought a set of Flowtech headers to go in my F-500 school bus, and they exit right into the crossmember (where the bellhousing is mounted). Are there headers that drop lower than the FlowTech headers?

F500? There's the problem. I don't think there would be any headers made for that chassis. I wonder if a set of 4WD headers would work better? They usually hang lower to clear the suspension and since your F500 has a straight axle under it there should be room. Just a thought.

Just wondering, but why do 4WD headers drop lower than regular ones? I think I'll give Flowtech a call on monday and talk to them about the measurements. Does anyone make shorty headers for a 390?
