I love my 6.0 i have a 350SRW 4x4 KR and the most i pull is a 21 foot triton bass boat that weighs maybe 2k that truck doesnt know its back there. Maybe a trailer with 2 or 3 4wheelers now and then and thats it. Its a monster and i am running stock. i can only imagine whats its like with a tunner....I never run out of power.. its a beast but you know what if factory wants to give me MORE shoot im down give me all the power you can..More torque hmm YEAHHHH...just cause we dont use it allor need it all dont mean its not wanted. oh and my last truck was a ranger v6 manual trans and it was good but it aint like this truck

Tim,
When are you gonna start the 6.4 litre section of the forum? I'm slated for a new vehicle in 08 and I say the more info the better. I think Ford been bitten pretty bad by the the whole 6.0 litre experiece and I can't imagine them putting out anything less then magnificent for the next motor.

Regarding power, a wise man once said, "too much is almost enough".

That sounds like Walter Rohl (World Champion Rally Driver, and now Porsches Chief test driver - Not a bad job)

He once said
"You can never have enough power, well actually, maybe when we had Group B... Then we enough power"
If you know anything about Group B rally cars I think you would agree...

OK, that was a joke. I had just been reading the thread "stupid things your dealer said" on the SD Forum. My old truck is a 1977 F150 Ranger. Ain't like the new 05 350 PSD. Right, can't have too much power, well below say 600hp or so.

Yes, Group B was stopped due to being too powerful, 600+hp, weaving through trees merely inches from your mirrors, driving on ice...

Lancia was yes (Delta Integrale), and Peugot (205 T16), Renault (T5), Audi (Quattro).
Fords one was the RS200...
Check this out - 0-60 in 2.1s!!!

Anyhow, back to power, I want more!!!
And if anyone wants any further information on power/torque guesses on the 6.4l they needn't look any further than the Tonka concept truck
