Yesterday my service engine light came on. Conincidentally 1 day after I have the engine pressure washed. So I read the code to find two one said exhaust pressure sensor low and the other exhaust pressure control valve High. I reset the codes and the first still comes on. No noticeable change in performance. I must keep the truck on the road. I traced a tube from the RH manifold to behing the idler pulley in the top center of engine. The only plug I can find that has a sersor. My guess is that that is the EPS. Now what do I replace? do I have the right sensor? what does one of these babies cost? Where? the part number on the unit, giving I have the right unit is 180733O or C18211B. Any advice would be nice. Thanks
I boght one at cost, it was $68.00, so it will prolly be around $125.00. Mine was plugged with carbon and I asked if it could be cleaned, was told that it might clean up but was most likley fouled.

I tried drying with compressed air. I found the seal on the plug end to be slightly damaged. I would think that water would not have damaged the unit itself. Maybe the electrical connection had a short, but I did dry and tried to clean carbon, carefully - I don't know what is inside. Also vancuverpower your site I found the next step does nothing. Thanks guys

Still have not found the problem. The link worked to load the home page and then I cannot select any of the sections. I looks like it would be quite informative. Maybe it is because I use Mozilla as a search engine. Well I live outside USA and must wait for a month for the sensor to arrive. If you have any other ideas let me know. Again thanks
