Throwing these codes

p0236 Turbo boost sensor A circuit range/ performance

The boost pressure sensor responds to pressure changes in the intake manifold. This pressure is created by the turbocharger and changes with accelerator pedal position (APP) and engine speed. The engine control module (ECM) uses this information to assist in diagnosis of the barometric pressure (BARO) sensor and to provide engine overboost protection. The boost pressure sensor has a 5-volt reference circuit, a low reference circuit, and a signal circuit. The engine control module (ECM) supplies 5 volts to the boost pressure sensor on the 5-volt reference 2 circuit, and provides a ground on a low reference circuit. The boost pressure sensor provides a signal to the ECM on a signal circuit relative to the pressure changes. The ECM monitors the boost pressure sensor signal for voltage outside of the normal range. The ECM calculates a predicted value for the boost pressure sensor. The ECM then compares the predicted value to the actual signal.

p0472 Exhaust pres low.

p0471 Exhaust pres sensor / range

What is this telling me exactly? I cant seem to find anything on the Exhaust sensors. My ebpv is unplugged and I dont have any muff or cat

TSB 94-23-15 - 1994-1997 Power Stroke FAQ

Look at that. ^^ Does it run ok or are you lacking power? Unplug the electrical connection at the map and see if it runs any better. Cel will come on, but will go away when plugged back in. If it's running ok, I'd clear the codes and see what comes back. Could be a failing ebp sensor for the other codes, I'm not sure. Lots of debate on whether or not its even needed with the ebpv deleted, but I did put a new one in mine.

Darin I believe it to be lacking power, it has run this way since I picked it about a couple of months ago. I put a new EBP in a week ago. On my AE the MAP doesn't rally change much max is like 19psi. Thanks for the info I'll unplug it and take it for a drive.

OK, big difference, so I guessing time to change MAP? Turbo seems to be spooling much quicker

I haven't put the chip in yet due to not feeling it was running right, No on the Cali.

Good move. Modding a truck that's not running right in the first place can put you in a rabbit hole.

EBP codes are probably the tube from the manifold being blocked.

When I put in the new EBP sensor I cleaned the tube although it was already clear.

Check the EBP tube fitting at the exhaust manifold; that's where mine was clogged up with soot.

Yep, I'd get a new one in if it runs better without it plugged in. Make sure your hose and connection to it are clear and without cracks also.

Is this one of the "Motorcraft" only parts or is aftermarket acceptable. Ford wants $375

I wouldn't go with anything but motorcraft, but I'd shop around. Check with Clay at riffraff, or look elsewhere online if needed. They aren't cheap, but that is a ford price..
