428 crank / flexplate
anyone know if the flexplate is indexed as to bolt on the crank only one way ,
being this is externally balanced ? Seems like the flexplate should only fit a certain position to the crank . Thanks

All flywheels are indexed(that I have ever seen). There will be ONE bolt that is off pattern just enough to make sure it fits only one way. Even neutral balanced motors are this way. This is noticable since you can use a 390 wheel ON a 428 even though the balance is different.
