water temp
I Was running very cool according to my temp guage, 155 when hot. I thought I had put in a 160 thermostat so After learning that wear and tear are greatly increased running that cool I got a 195 and put in. It turns out that I had a 180 in there and with the 195 it now runs at 175 according to the guage. Innaccurate guage? It's a mechaical guage with the sending unit in the front of the manifold. Should I be concerned or just as I usually do don't worry about it unless I see a significant change?
