no kidding.....Theres a place called phoenix hard parts that will do it for 950 plus 350 core deposite they ship it to you and you ship the old one back and theres your 350 back. I figure for a stock trans its good to 400 ponies... I could do a 4r70w but Id be in the same boat with the conversion.

I've seen some web sites for shops that use the aod case and eigther the e40d or 4r70w gear sets, but its been so long since I've seen any of thoes sites I can't remember which one they use.

I was thinking about doing this until I desided I would rather stir my gears by hand.

i agree with egoman. it is simply amazing the struggle an e4od guy has to endure. i have a 1992 fronco 5.0 e4od. i have the motorsport maf kit on the shelf (i originally got it for my 89 bronco-but sold it and now have my 92). anyone w/any info on this piggyback kit pls post a link. i'm telling you i'm getting that much closer to swapping in a vortec 350 and i HATE chevy-into-ford b.s. but if there making us ford guys suffer that much then in w/the the vortec if it's just as easy. yes it's frustrating all right.
