2 build or not 2 build
I have no interest in spending a coupla hundred dollars on a set of headers.....I'd rather build them!
Figure if I can get my hands on a nice set I can do a "mock-up" and work off it. What kind of problems will I face should I decide 2 take on said project AND can any1 lend me a set of kick-*** headers for a '96 f-150 inline 6?

Im a big fan of making everything I can myself. Saved a lot of money on car parts that way.
The hardest part it fitting the pipes toward the bottom. Careful cutting and LOTS of measuring will help here. You dont want something that looks like crap because you had to fill a large gap with weld. Other than that, its really not that hard of a job, other than the amount of time it will take.
You should be able to find a header kit on Ebay or Summit for a V8 that would have all the bends and curves you would need. Ebay should have the flanges too.
