Human Cloning
As to organ cloning, I still stand by it. That is of course if you can clone an organ or limb without the rest of the body. Cloning a whole body just for a handful of parts is disgusting. But if we can truly in the next couple decades coerce the body into growing new organs within itself, I'm all for it.

Well cloning for spare parts isn't against the law. Companies are woring on cloning parts (in this country) from stem cell research, not cloning for a birth. Parts grow faster and this might happen.

That group already said that they wouldn't hesitate at cloning Hitler. Something about it being the right thing to do and we would be denying Hitler his right to life if we didn't.
The group is completely wacked out.

>Just out of curiosity, what is your personal stand on
>abortion and women's rights?
I don't care to open the abortion can of worms right now. I've switched stances a couple times through the years and still haven't quite recovered from all the "discussing" we did in college. Seems like a 'lose-lose' situation. All I can say is, you never know how shoes fits, till you take a walk in them. As long as abortion is not state sponsored, in either case, I don't feel like I have blood on my hands. I am much more concerned about state sponsored executions, the taking of life with my tax dollars.
Its not relevant to cloning anyway, since all babies are wanted by definition. There is plenty of info out there concerning this very, very old issue. Everybody has already made their mind up and not much can be gained by discussing it. However, if someone starts a thread that seems intriguing, I might respond.
As far as women's rights go, this is easy. Every person has the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. No person should force their will on another except, perhaps, in defense of their own person, family, or possesions. There might be other exceptions, I just can't think of any right now.

Would you sue if you didn't like the genes they picked for you?

I 2nd that!
I hear they can grow new teeth for implantation now.

That rael guy said the jews would love to try hitler for war crimes!?!
This is absolutely preposterous, to think that a child from the dna of hitler would grow up to be just like hitler. Might as well grab his cousin and try him instead.
But the idea of purposely engineering a fallguy for the trial of war crimes is idiotic as well as evil.

That was Pope Formosus (891-896) who was exhumed and the tried by Pope Stephen VI in January 897. He was found guilty, duh, and then mutilated and had 3 fingers cut off and then buried in a common grave. Somebody then dug him up again and gave him a decent burial. Pope John IX (898-900) declared the actions of the 'cadaver court' annulled. And pope Stephen ended up in prison and was strangled.
I don't see what purpose all this served either.

Actually what Rael said was he would clone Hitler because wouldn't the jews like to hold Hitler accountable for his actions and place him on trial?

I agree with you there...
What I don't understand is it's Hitlers clone not him so what is that going to solve? I mean his clone didn't send millions to the gas chambers and torture of concentration camps....Just proves what his feeling are on clones...they are indisposable objects. SICKENING
