I saw a sight
cruisin' south on 75 here the other day, I saw an early 70's ish Ford. Coudn't tell you the model. Had a flat bed with a big flat 5th wheel trailer behind it, and on the trailer was an '02 Silverado! 
that's a feller got his priorities straight right there. and he had a dog on the back of his truck driving through stop and go rush hour traffic, right under the new high five interchange. how cool is that?

Speaking of Ford towing, an incident happened this weekend that would make a good commercial. A friend of my son bought a 21' boat and was supposed to pick it up at a local marina. His Suburban was not available so he called a friend and asked if he had a vehicle with a hitch. The friend said yes and said he would pick the new boat owner up. The guy showed up in a minivan and they drove to the lake, hitched up the tandem wheel trailer, backed down the ramp. When the boat was secured they found that the minivan would not move. About this time some guy watching this comedy said he would help them. He backed an F250 up to the van, told the owner to put it in neutral, and pulled the van and the boat out of the water.

Last summer I made the trek from Wyo to TX with my '95 PSD towing my '70 Cst-10 on a flatbed gooseneck, but I was sorta proud of everything about that rig. Got lots of compliments over the CB and at fuel stops. Even if you hate Chevys you gotta have some respect for the old beasts like mine!
