Dump 3 gallons in then 1/2 a quart at a time until the dip stick shows 1/2 into the hash marks DO NOT overfill. It should be around 13.5 to 14.5 quarts (can't remember)
I'm getting ready to change oil. Ordered and received 6 filters from oil guard and my fumotovalve. I remember someone having a post as to a socket that fits both the oil filter cap and the fuel filters. I have done a search and read back through 13 pages of threads to find where it was. Can someone direct me to the website that carried the special tool or the post it was located at. Does Motorhaven carry it? Maybe list it on the tech site for tools used to help with oil/fuel filter change.
Oil Filter cap nut is 36 MM , get a 36mm 1/2 drive socket<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
I just did my first oil change at Jiffy Lube and have an updated price. They were tacking a $40 surcharge for the filter, NO MORE. My total for a Rotella oil change with sales tax was $51.48 and after a 10% discount, which almost everyone can get. Plus they check everthing else and the old oil goes back to the right place (hopefully)
But if you like changing your own oil and disposing of it.........Have Fun

You are looking for a 36mm socket to be used for both the engine oil filter cap and the large fuel filter cap located on the frame rail. I do not remember the size for the engine fuel filter cap unfortunately.
Thanks all for the info on the use of a 36mm size. I was looking for a 36mm socket that is only 1/2 to 3/4 inch high it is made by a speciality tool company for the ford filters. I had read about someone using one and they had a web site that showed the tool. Thinking back... it might have been on one of those other diesel sites. Thanks again.
Found what I was looking for. Lislecorp carries a 36mm socket made especially for the oil/fuel filters on the PSD 6.0. etoolcart.com also carries it, but I ordered mine from my local auto parts store. Cost was $8.99.
