OK. I see my truck has a 7 pin connector on the rear. Now, where do I find the other end of the blue wire for the brake controller? I looked under the dash a bit and saw several connectors I dont recognize. Is there a pigtail I need to purchase to connect my Tekonsha Voyager brake controller to my truck?
I Just purchased this truck so I was pleasantly surprised to find the 7 pin connector on the rear already wired and mostly working.

I am not sure the factory ever installed 7 pin connectors on trucks of that year. So it may have been installed by the previous owner. Ford would sometimes have the wires in the harness, but they would not be hooked up on either end. The wire you are looking for(the power for the brakes) shouldbe under the dash with some others if the previous owner was pulling a trailer that required the brakes be hooked up. But I do know of people who never hook up the brakes(even though they should). So you may find the blue wire taped up in the harness under the dash if the previous owner never used it. You will also need a fused power wire from the battery to power the controller.
Thanks Franklin2 for the quick response. I've now had a chance to look closer at the connector and harness.
Connector - Ford #F4TB-14A464-AT
Harness- Ford # F6TB-13A576-P260H
Where could I look up these numbers and see if this was part of the truck originally or added by some dealer?
Also I see that even Camping World offers a pigtail to plug into the Ford wiring harness when adding a brake controller (For pre wired Ford full size 94 thru 04).
Does this mean the necessary fused power connection for the controller is already in the existing truck wiring?

Yes it could be there, if it had the towing package. In these packages, Ford added the wiring, but did not do the owner any more favors. The wiring is usually taped up and tucked underneath a fuse box under the hood if you have one, and the fuse spot is usually empty. And sometimes there are relays that are involved, that are there, but not hooked up. It's really confusing sometimes to figure out. The only way I know this is there are some guys on here who have figured it out and have found the wires.
After a few hours of looking, I would give up and wire it yourself.

Thanks for the help.
I have a 95 F-250 with the above parts that I just replaced with Ford part F6TZ-13A576-BA. It's identical to the parts I took off and plugs right in.
