Is there factory trailer wiring on 1994 F-250?
I'm buying a '94 F-250 turbodiesel and I need to go pick it and my horse trailer up. It has a 6 pin (and no brake controller) and my trailer is 7 pin. I currently have a 7 pin and controller on my '88 f-250. Can I just cut the controller and 7 pin connector off my '88 and wire each to a flat 4 pin to plug into a factory type harness on the new truck?
Thanks,
John

If you have trailer package, you should have a 7 wire connector at the back of the left frame modeling. If you know the wiring diagram, you should be able to just rewire your truck for your new wire plug.
