I have a bone stock 01 F-250 PSD CC with 55K miles. Only aftermarket change is tires. My problem is my truck stalls out. I can be driving and it will either stall for a split second and run again (because it's in gear I figure it jumps itself) or just plain quits. If it quits, it sometimes takes a little cranking to get her started again or it can fire right up. Usually it just looses all power for a split second and will be fine for the rest of the drive. For some reason it just happens under acceleration or under load as when I drive home from work it's all down hill for 35 or so miles and it runs just fine. Anybody have this problem before or know what it might be? Thanks for any help!!!

Most likely it's a CPS sensor, located to the side of the flywheel, about $120 from an International dealer or around $200+ from a Ford dealer. Seems to cure just about any stalling problem. If you do a search on this site for stallling you will have plenty to read for awhile. More will chime in, just wait! Welcome to FTE

BTW it's located above the crank pulley, not the flywheel.

Thanks, the really bad thing is I replaced mine a few weeks ago, you would think I would remember where it was at!! Brain was working, typing fingers were not-
