Right now I have a 91 F250 EFI with a 460. I have Gibson headers, Exhaust, K&N intake currently. I was looking around and am curious as to if A edelbrock twin throttle body, Oversized Injectors, sending head work and a chip would make a nice difference. I don't want to have to convert over to a MAF system just due to how much work it seems like. Could I do all this without going to a MAF system? I don't want to do a cam just due to the fact its a lot of work, and its out of my budget, and along with that it would throw the density computer off, right? Im also wondering would I be wise to swap the distributer with a edelbrock excel or something? I know I won't notice anylowend with it but would i ntoice a decent top end?
I think the throttle body would be worth it, injectors might not be need until more drastic motor mods are done, you will definitly need custom chip to get the most benifit. I think a good cam would help alot too.
Question. What type of HP am I looking at with Gibson Headers, 3" exhaust, K&N intake, Twin BBK 61MM throttle body, and a Chip? Would you say 300ish with around 450 Ft Lbs?
I think the only company that makes a throttle body anymore is BBK. I like the fuel pressure regulator. I noticed some difference. The reason I got it is that the headers and exhaust work made the truck run a little lean so I just turned up the pressure to keep it from running lean. I bet 300 hp is a good estimate, the torque is probrably close too maybe a little higher. Hope this helps.
Ok. Thanks for your help, looks like ill being going with this setup, and a set of tires. The rest ill keep for gas.(Gonna need it). Could you give me the link to where you picked up your FPR?
I got my regulator through Summit racing, I bought the BBK regulator and a small autometer fuel pressure guage to go with it. There are two BBK regulators one with three screw to attach it and one with two, you should need the two bolt one thats what my truck needed.
I think it is the BBK-1707 that fits. Might want to call and ask if it is the two screw one and not the three. I also ordered a small autometer guage that is hooked to the side of the FPR. Hope this helps.

cool info!! thanks !!have a 92 motorhome with the 460,,will look into getting them both also, have the fuel pressure guage, part#'s?you can also tap into the oxygen sensor and get the voltage readings while you adjust it i heard, some guy had posted earlier his truck ran best at 52 p,,,at full throttle with readings of 700ml this was a 97 460,,maybe he'll be reading this and post again thanks to everyone
I don't have the fuel pressure guage part numbers handy. It is a small Autometer guage that fits right on the regulator. I run my truck at around 45 psi, I noticed any higher and I didn't gain anything just lost milage.
