Well, I had 530,000 on my F350 I traded for the '94 F250 and I never replaced a fuel pump, 460 gas also. Maybe you can get to that as well. My fuel tank issue right now is whether or not I go to a 38 gallon rear tank to make my total capacity 57 gallons. That would give me almost 800 miles range with optimum consumption. That's to be addressed later though. I'd be carrying about 387# of fuel and that may adversely affect mileage as well.
I replaced the front pump last weekend it took 5 hrs. I drained the tank to make it lighter. With the cost of gas I just put the gas in the rear tank. The gas was 4 to 6 months old it still runs good. I have 226000 on the truck I think it was a orignal pump. Good luck.
