Fozzy locker? Do you mean a lincoln locker. cause thats when you weld the spider gears in your carrier, Kinda like a spool.

For the money, I'd go with a minispool
They sell for 35 bucks down here all day long.
Just gotta tell them what spline axles you have.
I wouldn't recommend the lincoln locker

actually fozzy is a member of one of the BC(canada) and he started welding 2 opposing gear teeth full on each spider so it only allows a 1/4 turn before locking, if you search "fozzy locker" then take the BC4x4 link you should find it

spoon or limited slip would be better good solid traction but not good in cornering that was a old hot rodder trick and 4 wheelers did it to before the days of spools limited slips and such mini spool through jegs or summit is 35 dollers and less work

I did it last fall in the front diff of my 80 F250. I did not do a Fozzy locker, I welded it solid. It works great and I have amazing traction. You just have to know when to lock both hubs or just one. And to drive carefully. In addition, there is a proper process to weld it up so the cast case does not become weak. And it was nearly free$.
