Pull to left when in 4WD

Hello,
I have a 95 F150 4x4 that has a pull to the left when in 4wd that is not there in 2wd. Both locking hubs are engaging and the front axle mechanicals are in good shape. Also, all the suspension and steering parts have been inspected and/or replaced. The only thing I can think of is that the front wheels aren't aligned to the rears and is finding its own "straight line", but it was aligned recently (last 6 months). Anybody have any ideas or know of this problem?

Thanks, ---Mike---

What type of front differential are you running. Is it limited slip of open? If manual hubs, while both appear to be inlocked position, have you confirmed that both wheels up front pull? What kind of surface are you driving on in 4WD?

i know this should be kinkda a obvious question, but are the tires all the same size? when not in 4 by 4 when you turn is there any kind of knocking or poping? this could be from a worn bushing even though you said they were looked over it still could be there.

The front diff is limited slip (factory Dana trac-loc) and still tight with aproximately 20,000 miles actual use. Both front wheels do pull. It is more noticable on clear pavement but less on snowy roads, (the truck realy darts around on patchy snow). The tires are the same size and all the bushings and ball joints have been replaced within the last year (15,000 miles)and are tight. I thought maybe "torque steer", but it isn't any worse under acceleration. You can feel the front wheels self center because of the posi, but it pulls to the left and the steering wheel is off center. Put it in 2wd and it all disappears and the steering wheel comes back straight.

Hi:

I have a '92 F-150 flareside with the factory front limited slip, and the situation you describe is pretty much normal for this truck when the hubs are locked, in 2WD, and you are driving on dry pavement. If you still have the owner's manual, there should be a note somewhere warning of this.
