Motor mount question

Do the motor mounts on a 390 go on the engine with the stud forward, or to the rear, of the mounting bolt centerline? Thanks for your help, Brett

They go towards the front I beleive. The motor mounts are marked LH and RH, LH being the driverside and RH being the passenger side. I made the mistake of putting the motor mounts in wrong and of course the engine wouldnt go in, if you put them on the wrong side youll know right away when you start lowering the engine into postion.
