either way this is a solid gain that u WILL notice. high flow Catco (or alternative) with 2 1/2" pipe into a magnaflow muffler (smallest one u can find) and exit however u wish. good, deep, throaty sound (flows sound terrible on a BB6) and WILL increase power/milage.
cost:
Cat - $60-100
Mufler - $60-80
Tubing - $45 (going by what it costs here, $3/foot)
Labor - $100 (including bend, clamps but id get it welded, hangers and install. again going by local rates)
specs..1995 f-150 4.9, a "Y" in the vin. 5 speed. The only "aftermarket" thing I have is the K&N air filter. I have had the rear end rebuilt, Rebuilt the tranny,( nothing was wrong with it I just wanted it new and fresh), new clutch. Replaced all the Fuel injectors. And a full tune up. Had the oil pressure line checkd and it was at 50. And had the fuel pressure checked but dont remember what it was, was in good specs though.
BB6? And what did you mean by the smallest one I can find,( Magnaflow muffler)? I will be doing the exhaust in the next 2 weeks. So any more info you have would be great. Maybe part number(s) if ya have it? Or a place you recommend.
