89 460 chip?
ive been thinking of putting a chip in my truck. its a 79 f250 with a 89 460. here is my question right now it has a standard tranny but the computer is for an auto. i have a toggle switch that tells the computer its in park/drive for starting reasons. it also idles it up when in the "drive" position. can there be a chip made for a manual tranny? what can i benifit from a chip with a stock 460? also will a chip made for a manual tranny make it so i dont have to use that park/drive toggle switch anymore?

The answer is maybe. I need to know the ECU code of the computer and I can tell you what can be done (this may be a code issue rather than a data table issue so that can impact this).
