Code Reader
I did a search and could not find a response to this or one from our sponsors:
Where can I get a code reader and which Brand is best...My Check Engine Icon has just come on at 10,000 miles and I feel nothing wrong with the truck...I checked for fuel/water and found none, rechecked fuel cap, and used the old trick with my 96 (gas) and disconnected the batteries for 30 seconds and put everything back in service...The dash went thru it's check prior to starting and everything was good with the truck but the check engine icon is still on...
I feel a reader and listing of the codes would be a benefit to me when a problem arises and it needs to go to the dealer...I would also like to reset the icon and see it it comes back....Any help is appreciated...
