Thanks for all the feedback. I ended up going with the Clifford Concept 450 series. Features autostart with programmable delay for diesel, turbo spindown mode (It runs for 1 minute after I exit the vehicle then shuts off and arms itself!) and has an incredible range, 2000 ft at least. It also has the feature where you can program it to start and run for 15 minutes on its own if the tem gets too hot or cold. The best thing is these new systems can be programmed by connecting a laptop to the alram interface!

What is the price on one of these systems?

With Installation it was about $725. THe alarm is $399, the Remote start is $225 and the rest was labor. It is a reputable shop but it still took the installer all day. THe entire dashboard had to come out - I can tell a lot of work was involved. I think for another $200 I could have added the option to roll the windows down but I don't really need that.

Can you get the remote start and delay features without the alarm?

I see from the web site your not kidding about the window closure....My AstroStart was $400 installed no alarm. So $725 is probably right for the total package you have.
