I've had my 2005 6.0L for about 1700 miles and just started noticing an oil leak coming from the mid or front of the engine. About a 1" diameter spot in my garage each night.

Any ideas?

 

There are several spots that it could leak in the front and blow back and drip. In any event, I would make note of it and take it in. That warranty is part of the cost. Use it.

 

I had a oil leak at 480 miles, the dealer replaced the oil relief valve...did not fix. Second time replace valve cover to the oil relief valve, then they found the real problem, cracked cover. No more leak.

 

Just noticed some oil spots under the front of my 05 thats a month old. Will take it in to the dealer.

Ny 05 has just hit about 5400 miles - I have noticed several small quarter sized oil spots on my garage floor - kinda dry and thought hmmmm..this morning, a nice wet one - looked under and saw the leak from same spot you described - it's going into dealer on tuesday - Can I look myself and possbily see the cracked cover if that's what it is?? also, noticed my fuel mileage is getting progessivly worse - is this related???
