I put a predator module on my 99 F350 P-stroke and loved it for one tank. Today while pulling steep grade in "towing" mode, my check engine light came on. I turned the switch to off. A few minutes later it started smoking badly and nearly died. I removed the tuner and disconnected the battery for 1/2 hour. I was able to get it home, but it runs like edited for language by admin. The truck has 60,000 miles and ran perfectly before this incident. I called the supplier who said he called Predator (Diablo?). He said that the ICP sensor probablt y failed and that it was a common Ford problem that I should have been aware of. The check engine light has not come back on, still runs terribly. Any ideas???? Sorry, I do not have a code reader, off to Ford for help??
