I have a question on the 390 headers application to a '61 (I've got a '70 T-bird 390). I just bought this truck and am new to this vintage. Anyway, are the engine bays the same size on the '61s as the '65s? I would like to put headers on too, but not sure if they'll fit.

I asked a similar question a while back because I have an FE-block in my 64. The 61-64 models are significantly different than the 65 and 66. Frame clearance is more of a concern than engine bay room. The frame of the 61-64 is similar to the frame of the 4wd 65+ trucks.
I think what you want to get is headers for a 65-76ish >4wd< 352-428 FE
Well Taylor, I hope your right. I just ordered a set of Hedmans for a '65 4x4 from Summit. We'll see if it fits. My 390 mounts via a cradle, so it could be interesting. At least Summit has a good return policy if it doesn't fit. If it doesn't, I'm not sure what I'll do.
If unable to find headers that meet your application may try Sanderson Headers. Seems limited selection but if they do not have in their inventory they will make to spec's. www.sandersonheaders.com
