351 Cleveland

Hey All!,
I have a 77 f-150 that i dropped a 351C into. Its a 2wd with a 3 speed auto, so it drives like a car. I built up my Cleveland in June, and it runs awesome. But I do have a problem. It only has a 2bbl on it and I want to slap a 4bbl on 'er. I dont know much about matching a 4bbl intake to the 2bbl/2 valve heads.

Any pointers would be awesome!

Regards,
Metallifanatic

new here ,but i would recommend that you go ahead and get a 4bbl intake ,if you built up the motor ,you don't want to "choke" the 4bbl,,they do sell adapter plates to mount 4bbl to 2 bbl intake

Edelbrock makes a nice 4v manifold for the 2v heads.

Yep, the 4V heads have much larger ports. They are really for high rpm use. The 2V heads have good sized ports and valves and the Edelbrock Performer for 2v heads works great. I had one on a 71 351C that I had years ago.

thanx guys, this definitely helps!

Any preferences for a make of carb?

Mark A., did you mean 4barrel or 4 valve heads? i want to make sure a 4 barrel intake will match perfectly to my 2bbl/2 valve heads
