I need a replacement for a 1997 Ford Eddie Bauer 6 cd changer and magazine...the radio is fine, the changer doesn't work...FORD RULES!
Contact these guys. They're the only place I've found factory CD Changers. They used to advertise alot of the 6 disk models, so they may still have some.
Still, a 10 Disc is the same price they used to sell the 6 disc for. EDIT* Go to the Ebay stores and search for "CDChanger4u"
About that Ebay guy, are these really factory CD changers for the Expy? I'm about to pull the trigger on the 10-disc he's got up there now to replace my dead 6-disc that lives in my armrest console. I just can't tell if the new replacement will fit nicely back in that console, or if I will have to mount this thing somewhere else in the truck. Any idea?
From what I've seen, they appear to be factory units. But I haven't bought one. I've been looking at them for awhile, as my Wife's Sable doesn't have the changer. I just haven't had the cash to drop on one yet. Looking at their feedbacks though, they seem to be a reliable outfit, 445 positive feedbacks for a 100% rating. When I can I'm gonna try them out if they still have the changer I'm looking at. I would think the 10 disc would fit w/out any hassle, except you probably won't have any room for storage (not that there was much room w/the 6 disc). The 10 disc changers I've seen are about 1 inch taller than the 6 disc models, but that shouldn't be an issue.
