Unhappy E4OD Help

Hi guys, I have a 1993 F250 4x4 Supercab with the 7.3l and the E4OD. The engine was just replaced and the mechanic broke the throttle positioning sensor. This caused the "OFF" light on the gear shift to blink. I put a new sensor in but now the light blinks when I press on the throttle. When I stop at a light the "OFF" light stops blinking. With the blinking light the trans shifts HARD and the engine must rev pretty before it will shift. I tried to find any info about is there codes stored in the trans and if so how do I get to them.

Thanks

I would like to know what a FPLS is. Every time I try to search for it the system says it's busy.

Thanks. I played with the FPLS a little and now it works. I only moved the sensor about 2 degrees.

go to walmart in the auto section and pick up a code scanner they have them cheaper than any one else(they have one for ford and one for gm)i think they were around 15.00 you cant fix nothing on these trucks with out it.i have a procedure for setting the tps with a volt meter. if you do a search here others have the same procedure but if you cant find it i will email you the instructions.all sensors have to be working correctly its vital to the health of your tranny especially the tps, vss, mlps and rpm sensors these sensors control how your tranny operates.FIX THE BLINKING LIGHT its real important

As I said I moved the TPS about 2 degrees, a very small amount and now no blinking light and the tranny is shifting as smooth as silk. Just like it did when it was new. I guess it was set very close and when I changed the TPS sensor I had held it in the middle of the mounting holes. When I lossened the mounting screws and retighened the screws the sensor shifted. When I tighened the screws I didn't hold the sensor I just let it spring to the final position.
I'm still going to get a code reader if I can find one that will connect to my 1993 F250.
