windshield washer filter?
ok... yet another little piece broke. this one i don't really mind, but my aerostar has a windshield washer inline filter. is this device necessary at all? it has cracked and left me without front windshield washer function. this plus slushy road conditions after heavy snowfall over the weekend made it quite the entertaining drive.
anyways, wondering if this filter is a must have or can i just bypass it? in the past, i have replaced this filter before by the dealer. the mechanic didn't say it was necessary or just a "good to have" thing. nor did it dawn on me to ask.
