windshield washer problem

My windshield washer has a mind of it's own. Sometimes the washer sprays and works right away. Other times it takes 20 pushes or more on the washer button before it works. Are any of you guys experiencing this? I will tell the dealer when I take it in to have warranty check up. Two of my remote buttons on the drivers door handle are out... the lights i mean. They work fine but the last two buttons don't light up. And yes, the washer tank is full.

I only have an issue if I haven't used it in a while, but it's only a couple second pause. Maybe a line is a little loose and air is getting in.

Try holding the button.

last time I had intermittent washer trouble, it turned out to be the plastic washer from a gallon jug of antifreeze lid was floating around in the reservoir and intermittently plugging the pump intake...check your washer fluid reservoir or wash it out with a hose maybe?
