Sorry to bring up old thread ,but was searching.Anyone know how much angle a rear 60 can handle .If its 20" and you just overfill, that should work ay. Does the ring gear throw oil up on the pinion bearing in the rear 60???

A 60 front has a oil retention plate that goes on before the inner pinion bearing. You could probably put one in the rear if you were going to turn the axle up far. It's probably around .040 thick so it would be close as far as removing enough pinion shimms to make it work but it would hold the oil up in there better.
