Quadrajets Spread Bore carbs

I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with Q-jet carbs?

why... thats for GM s eeewwwww! if your looking to put one on your ford go one step futher put an Edlebrock intake on an a 1406 edlebrock carb you'll be happier

I got the idea from a off road bronco site. They used it with a edelbrock intake (The Q-jet carbs are also made by edelbrock), and some adaptor plate from AutoZone flipped upside down. They called it the poor mans FI. They said you could stand ur truck on its bumper and it wouldnt conk out on you. Its also suppost to save you gas at idle and low speed.

Just wondering if anyone has done this.

I usually try to keep my trucks on the tires. They don't wear as fast as the bumpers do.

If you have an auto trans, there is no provision for the kickdown lever on a QuadraBog.

I am going to use a q-junk on my 69 F-250, but I am having a very hard time trying to find the right size one. The best thing to do is send it off to pony carbs, they rebuild them to eliminate the bog.
When you have a full manual valve body in a c6 transmission, there's no need for a kickdown-
