Doorless Bronco??

I was thinking about making my doors removable. Kinda like the....Je@p....doors I guess. I have the roll bar so I will be taking the top off in the summer and I though it might look nice with the doors off too. Plus it might add some cool air on those 110 degree Texas days. . I was wondering how it looked and if it could be easily done.

Thanks

Its not extremely easy. Dissconnect the wirin from the rest of the car then take the door of the hinges. You could fab up some sort of quick detach type thing for the wiring harness, then it would be easy to put back on. Oh also theyre heavier than they look.

Taking them off is the easy part. The hard part is getting them to line up right when you put them back on....

You may even consider the idea of leaving them off. There is a kit that I found a couple of years ago on the net, that converts your your door frame to take the soft doors like jeeps. Its for the Bronco up to 1977....but may give you an idea.

Good luck.
