Explorer towing a civic: mileage?

Explorer towing a civic: mileage?
I need to get a 2 door 93 Honda Civic to Texas, and I was just wondering if I used a 02 2WD Explorer to do it what the gas mileage would be. Anyone have any guesses? Much appreciated! :-)

Does that '02 have a V-6 0r V-8? My '02 with the 4.0L SOHC V-6 got around 15 mpg towing my 2960# boat/trailer rig. My '04 with the 4.6L V-8 gets around 14 mpg but the tranny doesn't hunt as much on hills. Good luck on your trip!
