I would certainly recommend sponsors first, and if they dont have the parts, it would behoove them to try to get them.
I have seen these headliners available elsewhere, and the 67-72 liner is different than the 73-79 liner. I doubt that it could be cut to fit.
motorhaven should consider selling them, as they are a good idea. I want one for my 76 F-150 crewcab, still thinking about it. in my F-600 I suspect I'd hit my head on the speakers too much, as the seat is higher, and the bumps are bigger...
MotorHaven used to sell "hard parts" for the older trucks. It gets difficult to profitably support so many sku numbers for the older vehicles so now its primarily sheet metal and books. It was a disservice not being able to keep everything in stock so that's why it was changed.
Hello WHD507, you said the 67-72 headliner is different from the 73-79 headliner and could not be made to fit, but the autkrafters catalog lists the same part number for either application, so no matter what year your truck is, you are going to get the same part.
Sorry, when i said autokrafters I meant NPD. I got too many damn catalogs! I get them confused all the time. I got a foot high stack for my 66 Mustang another foot high stack for my 69 F-100.
Since Ken reiterated the rules about posting non-sponsors, I'll post the particulars. The Highliner is made by Palco Industries. The website is www.dashtop.com. Let's hope they become a sponsor since they get so much free press-time on our website.

That is neat, a 69 F100 and a 66 Mustang best of both worlds!
Well I have gone through two JC Whitney catalogs and I cannot find an overhead console/headliner combo for our trucks. If anyone knows where I can get one of these I would appreciate it. With the fuel tank behind the seat and the one speaker in the center of the dash there just really aren't many options for speaker placement. I also think that mounting the stereo here might be better than under the dash. Never done it though.
They were in the last LMC Truck catalog I looked at.
