dynomax exhaust

hey, i have a 1998 F-250LD super cab 4x4 lariat with the 5.4L engine. i was wondering if anybody has used the dynomax exhaust kit and how they liked it. does it have a nice deep rumble at idle but when you step on it get quite a bit louder. i don't want it to be snappy like a glasspack but i still want to be able to hear that V8, or would i be better of to leave the muffler off and just get the pipe kit or have an exhaust shop make me some duals. would it be worth while to start at the headers and have true duals or would it matter that much on that engine. i haven't done anything else to it and i might put a intake kit and a tuner but not much else. any thoughts about what i should do and how the dynomax mufflers sound?

It really depends on what dynomax muffler you want. I've got super turbo's running thru headers and it may not be the loudest muffler out there it sure does have a bark.

I have always liked Flowmaster, but I had a couple of Dynomax Bullets w/turndowns on a 95 GT I used to own. Man, did it sound mean. And I knew a guy that had a Bronco (95 model?) w/Super Turbos & it had a good rumble to it. Right now I have a 98 F150 SC 4x4 4.6L w/Flowmaster Super 40 & turndown. Almost sounds like a big block.
