I have a 1986 black Ford Ranger. I'm working the kinks out of it. It sat for over a year before my brother got hold of it and sold it to me. I live in Slidell.
Just found this site a week ago. I have a 86 E-150 w/ 5.0L wishing it was 5.8L. Just order a round of front end parts from PST. About 6 to 8 inches of play in the steering wheel. Since it's going to be a while before I get my dream car (82 Corvette) I'll hot rod my van in the mean time.
I am currently living in Houma after relocating after Katrina.Originally from St. Bernard parish.I drive a 2005 XLT S-crew 5.4 engine.
Well after 6 pages, i was wondering if anybody close to me was on here haha. I'm in Raceland, Louisiana. haha too bad there isnt a big crowd cuz it would be cool to meet one day. It's always nice to see the people behind the keyboard.

Hello, started with a '88 Ranger while in college in Monroe, next was my '93 F-250 with the 7.3l diesel, no power stroke, next was 2000 Lincoln Navigator, currently 2005 F-350 FX, single rear wheels, 4dr/4wd, grey. I reside in clinton and raise paint horses.
How ya'll are?
I just joined FTE to get help on restoration of my 1985 F150 shortbox. I rebuilt a 81 300ci six with 360ci flattop pistons, full floated the pins, che*y 1.6 and 1.94 stainless valves, full performance head work, 272/284 Crane Cam, Offy C Class intake, Edelbrock 500cfm, Headman 6-2 headers, Mazdog 5speed with Hurst shifter, and soon to have duraspark II ignition.
Also got a 1981 F150 Ranger 4x4 302 C6 3.55gears that smells like gas and misses(camp truck)

Hello Jeff,
I am also a newbie, but I have posted questions on the forum and everyone has been very helpful with answers and my sometime inexperienced questions. So welcome and hope you enjoy the forum.
Sincerely,

Hello all. Boy it's good to almost be back. Been out on the water for a few months. I live in St. Gabriel, Iberville Parish, but my trucks are in Colfax, Grant Parish, in storage at my dad's farm. I come home on Father's Day to see the ole girls. I'm sure I'll have some tuning up to do (been sitting for 10 months), but it sure will be nice to fire 'em up when I'm done. How do I join the La Chapter? Oh by the way, just drag over my signature to see my trucks.
Mike
